I had to cut it short, was dropped off while the "boss" ran errands and grocery shopped. I'll catch up on the workout posts. I've bumped up the sets, reps and added drop sets to everything I can. Trying to stick to a 90 second rest.

No beaches, but we do have a few lakes and rivers. I'd be the most jacked flyfisher on the river!

I really like the high set / rep routine. I gained a ton of strength on the EP gear. Seemed like every week I was bumping up on weight without sacrificing reps or facing an injury.

It is absolutely a beautiful area. I came out on a job interview in '98 and never left.
 
I've got a remote build going - finally - and have been buying lumber at a local yard, the same kid (he's 35) loads me up, fast as lightning and is a hard worker, tall, thin, former cross country athlete. I needed some help with the build, mostly the roof and getting the OSB up. I asked if he had any experience and wanted a side gig. He jumped on it. Kid's got some baggage, previous addict, clean for almost 10 months, in rehab, separated from his wife and kids while in the program. Has a few months left then he's turned over to the courts to decide his fate. This state has very harsh penalties vs. surrounding states.

He said as I was helping him load up boards, that he wanted arms like me - they are only 16" but, I'll take that compliment. He said he's never gone to workout, didn't know how to go about it and would love to learn. So - I took him to the gym with me last night. I told him there are other "highs" he can get if he stays focused as he has been. We ran arms and he did a great job, listened, kept good form and pushed hard.

When we finished the last set, he was so happy, had the pump, could see a change in the mirror. The girls there were eyeballing him, made him feel great! We shook hands, he gave me a side hug and kept thanking me, was almost in tears as he told me he'd been praying for an outlet. Felt good to share a little knowledge - what little I have. I'll drag him to the gym with me every chance I get and get him started. I'm giving him a workout routine and will change it up in 6 or 8 weeks. I paid for a month membership for him. Hope he takes advantage of that.

Yes, I was shocked at the joy this kid experienced. Was truly heartwarming.

I told him that the gym takes the place of and helps cure a lot of things. There's a lot of people with addictive personalities that flourish in the gym setting. The high he got from the workout was really something to see. He's working with me today through Sunday after church. I'll see if we can get to the gym a few more times.

Brother, you are killing it. I'm just gonna say take it from me and be careful with that shoulder! I like the TRT plus idea and if I may suggest perhaps switching to a low dose of Deca as it might lubricate the joints a little better than the NPP... as always though, I defer to the brothers who actually know what they're talking about.
