AAS Bust

Damn that's quite the haul they got....I noticed the delivery was to his gym.....that was dumb dumb dumb. Say goodbye to that business by the time they're done with him he'll need the cash to pay the lawyers and the fines....and hopefully stay out of jail

" 35 semi-automatic rifles and handguns with boxes of ammunition, loaded magazines, scopes, and in a few cases, silencers"

what a bunch of idiots

not me..it said in the article they were distributing locally

I would be willing to bet the personal training thing was a front for it.

whats really scary to ME about it besides an absurd number of guns is that they intend on going after customers

Where's the article? Am I missing something here?

Things to note.....

Wild eyed southern boys LOVE their guns.....35 semi-automatic rifles and handguns with boxes of ammunition, loaded magazines, scopes, and in a few cases, silencers;

Potential penalties on the charges range from three years to life in prison. (kind of a wide range huh?)

The package was found to contain 411 grams – approximately 14.5 ounces – of anabolic steroids. Lawmen decided to set up a "controlled deliver," which is to say that the package remained under the control or surveillance of law enforcement officers from that point. (controlled delivery is the proper term) Moral of the story is don't order a pound of steroid powder international.....

I love this line as well "drugs that are illegal but nonetheless popular among athletes, body builders and others"

People be CAREFUL.

oh I love my guns too and I'm a "yankee" but I have no need for a silencer ykwim?

Yeah, seriously?

"Yeah, I uh, needed that silencer to, you know, sneak up on deer..."

You guys watch too many movies. One of the most common uses for a suppressor is to reduce hearing damage.

Guns are loud. Loud things hurt your hearing. Making loud things less loud damages your hearing less. Simple enough?

to prevent hearing damage I have custom molded ear plugs...not a silencer

silencers are legal ya can get a permit for it. NO BS. my buddy has one. the gov. just wants to know where it is at all times but there are some legal....

I'm not sure at what point I ever said they were illegal...I implied using an excuse of hearing damage was a poor one.

I agree. I bet anything had it been nothing but the juice, it wouldn't of been as bad as it probably will get. But once you sell and get the taste, your mind can start to wonder what else it can sell underground to make easy money/quick cash. And guns are definitely one of those. I have heard of those labs too. I'll post a pic if I can find one.

I was reading this yesterday, they weren't the smartest guys. I thought it was common practice to have multiple po Boxes or use one of those 24 hr places where you can go get your pack whenever, like mail boxes etc. seems like to they just basically told the cops whatever they wanted to know, instead of keeping their mouths shut and lawyering up. And all this was in a school zone too, that's going to play into it with the guns. Hope they had money hidden somewhere, and not in bank accts because I will bet the cops froze those accts, this will be expensive.

What a small world.

Back in the day I was a commercial driver and delivered hazardous waste to the incinerator located in El Dorado, AR.

How in the hell would anybody make money selling AAS in that incredibly small and Podunk area? They must have been selling to a bigger market, maybe all of Arkansas and Louisiana and on the internet?

Ear plugs work fine while plinking at the range with small calibers, but thats only one of dozens of situations where they are effective. A suppressor is effective in all situations.
